 Update: Woman Injured in Firing at Delhi's Saket Court; Alleged Shooter Identified


In a shocking incident at the Saket court in Delhi earlier today, a woman was reportedly injured in the firing. According to the latest reports, the victim has been identified as M Radha, who was with her advocate at the time of the incident. The alleged shooter has been identified as Advocate Rajendra Jha and there was a dispute between his wife/victim.


The police have said that the shooter had a history of criminal activities and an IPC Section 420 case against the victim. Eyewitnesses have reported that 4-5 rounds were fired, and the shooter managed to escape through the canteen back entry.


The injured victim has been taken to Max Saket Hospital, and her condition is now reported to be stable. She had sustained two bullet injuries in the abdomen and one in the hand. The police have formed teams to nab the accused, and investigations are underway.


The incident has once again raised concerns about the safety of people visiting courts. The police have assured the public that they are taking all necessary steps to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future.
